Cross-country skiing: the Swedish selection for Les Rousses
On Tuesday lunchtime, theSwedish Ski Association unveiled the list of cross-country skiers selected for the World Cup scheduled to take place in Les Rousses (Jura) from Friday to Sunday. While Italy and Norway are skipping the weekend, the Swedes are sending their big guns to the Tuffes stadium.
Frida Karlsson, who has not raced on the World Cup since the early days of December, will be making her return to competition in France. Ebba Andersson, Linn Svahn, Maja Dahlqvist, Johanna Hagstroem, Emma Ribom and Jonna Sundling will also be there for the women.
On the men’s side, Edvin Anger, who is coming off an exceptional Tour de Ski, William Poromaa, Calle Halfvarsson, Jens Burman, Oskar Svensson and Johan Haeggstroem have been selected.
