On Friday, the 2025 Swiss cross-country skiing championships kicked off in Goms (Switzerland), in the wake of the end of the World Military Games. Two athletes under contract with the Swiss Army won the event: Candide Pralong and Nadja Kaelin.

In the women’s race, she won the gold medal with a 33 sec 0 lead over Lea Fischer, while Fabienne Alder was tanned. Frenchwoman Océane Bépoix, from TNE Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite, came eleventh.

In the men’s race, Candide Pralong won by a margin of 5.8 seconds over Jonas Baumann. Niclas Steiger, further back, took bronze just ahead of Jason Rueesch and Yannick Zellweger. Twenty-second place for Frenchman Tom Levet.
