13:24. A few minutes after the women cross-country skiers, it was the turn of the men to take to the track on Friday, to compete in the sprint skate team qualifier for the cross-country ski world cup stage in Goms (Switzerland).

As in the women’s event a few seconds earlier, the two French duos validated their qualification. Théo Schely (32nd) and Lucas Chanavat (best time) took sixth place in the qualifiers. Richard Jouve (36th) and Jules Chappaz (13th) also qualified, finishing twelfth.

On home soil, it was Switzerland’s Janik Riebli (4th fastest time) and Valerio Grond (6th fastest time) who dominated the event. They beat Norwegians Einar Hedegart ( joint fastest time with Lucas Chanavat) and Harald Oestberg Amundsen (8th fastest time), as well as Americans Ben Ogden (3rd fastest time) and Gus Schumacher (11th fastest time).
