Cross-country skiing : Hanna Fine and Simon Vuillet master the Transju’Classic
The traditional classic-style races kicked off the Transju’ 2025 on Saturday morning. This winter, due to the lack of snow on certain parts of the historic route, the organisers nevertheless managed to maintain the event over a total of 40 kilometres for the main races.

Over a 13.3 kilometre loop to be completed three times, the big names were there. Simon Vuillet was soon at the front of the pack and assumed his status. Winner of the classic Marathon de Bessans (Savoie) several weeks ago, the Jurassien confirmed his excellent performances on the Ski Classics circuit.
Stronger than the rest of the pack in the final hectometres of the course built around the resort of Les Rousses (Jura), the i3 Ski Team member claimed a fine victory more than 45 seconds ahead of Team Nordic Expérience Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite skier Avelino Naepflin. Antoine Millet rounded off the day’s top 3 in a breathtaking final in which he edged out Nathan Jouannon.

In the women’s category, there was no contest either. Already impressive in Bessans, where she won in January, Hanna Fine again mastered her subject on Saturday in the Jura. Winning after more than an hour and 38 minutes of effort, the Frenchwoman and member of the ED System Vltava Fund Ski Team beat Amélie Suiffet from Team Nordic Expérience by almost two minutes.
On the line, the latter got the better of her team-mate Laurie Flochon-Joly. Léonie Harivel and Margaux Gaillard rounded off the day’s top 5, more than five minutes from victory.
