Cross-country skiing : “No new back operation”, says Flora Dolci
Good news for Flora Dolci. The French team’s cross-country skier, who suffered a terrible paragliding accident on 9 October, synonymous with the end of the season, has given encouraging news of her recovery on Instagram.
In a story published on Tuesday, the 26-year-old cross-country skier was all smiles, crutches in hand and support boots on her feet. ” Recovery mode: well on”, she wrote optimistically.

“There will be no further back surgery,” she says, before adding that her foot is “healing little by little” and that she has “just two weeks left on crutches”. The back, meanwhile, is “repairing itself at its own pace to become solid again”, and the physiotherapy sessions have now begun.
Flora Dolci is keeping her spirits up: “I’m soaking up the sun and I don’t do much sport… (no, I’m joking!) I’m mainly stocking up on energy,” she jokes.
