Cross-country skiing: Team Aker Dæhlie puts together a versatile squad
Created in June 2022, the Aker Dæhlie Team is growing from strength to strength in the world of cross-country skiing. With a group dedicated to the Ski Classics, another to para-cross-country skiing and another comprising international cross-country skiers (such as the British) and Norwegians destined for the World Cup, it is performing on all fronts.
This year, as Langrenn.com reveals, the team management has decided to set up a new group: Team Aker Dæhlie Nordmarka. Aimed at Norwegians who have been disappointed by the national selections, it comprises nine athletes who will train under Mats Iversen. They include Emma Kirkeberg Moerk, Silje Theodorsen and Gjoeran Tefre, who were already in the squad last summer.

The recruits are Filip Skari, Lars Heggen, Haavard Moseby, Martin Kirkeberg Moerk, Hedda Oestberg Amundsen and Ingrid Andrea Gulbrandsen, all from the national team groups. Finally,Astrid Oeyre Slind, also a member of Team Aker Dæhlie, will be training with the Ski Classics group.
