18:21. This Thursday, the Norwegian cross-country skiing championships opened in Hovden (Norway) with a team sprint skate as the opening event. At the end of the afternoon, the various Scandinavian teams competed in the final stages.
It was Hanne Wilberg Rofstad and Julie Myhre who came out on top in the women’s race. The two Norwegians from Byåsen Idrettslag won in style ahead of their compatriots Tiril Liverud Knudsen and Mari Landro Svingheim from Konnerud Idrettslag and Tuva Anine Brusveen-Jensen and Nora Soedal Raastad from Lyn Ski.
On the men’s side, Didrik Toenseth and Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo were the logical winners. The day’s favourites, the pair won ahead of Nikolai Elde Holmboe and Sindre Bjoernestad Skar and the team ofHaavard Moseby and Edvard Sandvik.
