The Swedish cross-country skiing cup continued this Saturday on the slopes ofIdre Fjäll (Sweden). The day’s programme included a skate sprint in which Elin Henriksson and Norway’s Sindre Bjoernestad Skar won.

Already victorious in the morning qualifying round, Elin Henriksson put in a top-class performance to claim her first victory of the weekend, the day after her podium finish in the individual skate. On the line, the Swede beat her compatriots Lisa Ingesson and Evelina Crusell.

In the men’s race, it was a Norwegian who played a nasty trick on his Swedish rivals. Alone in the world throughout the day, Sindre Bjoernestad Skar dominated the proceedings. The Scandinavian won ahead of Olof Jonsson and Gustaf Berglund, winner the day before.
