After Vilma Ryytty‘s victory earlier in the morning in the women’s race, it was the cross-country skiers’ turn to compete in the skiathlon of the Finnish cross-country skiing championships in Imatra.

At the end of the 10-kilometre classic and 10-kilometre skate, Ristomatti Hakola once again imposed his law. On Friday, he won the team skate sprint with Lauri Lepistö. On Saturday, he followed this up with the individual classic, before claiming another victory today.
The Finn completed the race in 48 minutes and 29 seconds. In the sprint, he beat Miro Karppanen (+0.9 sec). Ville Ahonen completed the podium, 7.6 seconds behind the winner.
