Cross-country skiing: eight Norwegians already qualified for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games
At midday on Tuesday, the Norwegian Olympic Committee unveiled an initial list of athletes selected for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games. Of the sixteen selected, no fewer than eight are cross-country skiers.
The lucky winners are Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo, Harald Oestberg Amundsen, Erik Valnes, Einar Hedegart, Martin Loewstroem Nyenget, Astrid Oeyre Slind, Kristine Stavaas Skistad and Heidi Weng.
Karoline Simpson-Larsen, winner of the 10km skate in Davos (Switzerland) last Sunday, is not included in this first Olympic selection.
