Cross-country skiing: Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo ill with three weeks to go before the home World Championships
With three weeks to go to the Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim (Norway), Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo ‘s preparations have been completely turned upside down. As our VG colleagues report this Sunday, the Norwegian was forced to interrupt his altitude training in Switzerland due to illness. He made the return journey on Saturday evening.
“He has returned home to Trondheim with his father and manager Haakon,” confirmed the Scandinavian star’s entourage.

Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo will not be taking part in this weekend’s World Cup stage in Cogne (Italy). Since 19 January, he has been training in Pontresina, in the canton of Grisons. He was due to continue his World Cup preparations at 1800 metres above sea level until 10 February.
