Cross-country skiing: Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo in his garden at Mosjøen
Every year, Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo finishes his competitive winter on the streets of Mosjøen (Norway) for the Bysprinten, a spectacular and very popular urban sprint. This Saturday, for the 2025 edition, he was there once again and he won like a boss, as always.

He set the fastest time in the qualifying heat and then won all his laps, before finally dominating the final at the start of the afternoon to take victory ahead of Sweden’s Alvar Myhlback and Erik Bergstroem.

Even Northug, Birk Fjellheim and Jens Luraas Oftebro followed in the final rankings. Jarl Magnus Riiber, Einar Hedegart, Calle Halfvarsson and William Poromaa were eliminated in the quarters, while Petter Northug Jr was eliminated in the semi-finals.

The women’s competition went to Hanne Wilberg Rofstad, who won the Bysprinten 2025 in the final ahead of Julie Myhre and Elena Rise Johnsen. The adventure ended in the quarter-finals for Frida Dahl, Ida Marie Hagen, Anna-Karin Heijdenberg, Ane Appelkvist Stenseth, Marit Ishol Skogan and Gyda Westvold Hansen. Marte Kraakstad Johansen and Ella Halvarsson did not survive the semi-finals.
