Cross-country skiing: Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo in the lead
After Therese Johaug ‘s recital earlier in the day, it was the turn of the cross-country skiers to contest the final race of the season at the 50km World Cup Classic in Lahti (Finland). In a race held under the Finnish sun, it was the Norwegians who dominated the event with a quadruple victory. It was once again the king of cross-country skiing,Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo, who won.

In a race made difficult by spring-like conditions, the Norwegian showed himself to be extremely strong. Always well placed, he remained at the front of the leading group in this elimination race. In the final, with his perfect tactical sense, he tackled the descent and the last bend in the lead. Behind him, it was impossible for his rivals to catch him. He thus concluded his exceptional season in the best possible way.

Martin Loewstroem Nyenget put in another good performance, taking second place. The podium was completed by Simen Hegstad Krueger, who won the globe for the distance. Next up was another Norwegian in fourth place,Andreas Fjorden Ree. In the top 10, the Swede William Poromaa, the Finn Iivo Niskanen, the German Friedrich Moch, the American Gus Schumacher, the Norwegian Paal Golberg and the Briton Andrew Musgrave follow.
Hugo Lapalus best Frenchman
In the French camp, Hugo Lapalus put in the best performance, taking thirteenth place more than five minutes behind the winner. He also secured third place in the overall distance rankings. Clément Parisse finished in twenty-third place, more than seven minutes behind the winner.

The race was very difficult for the French, with Rémi Bourdin finishing forty-fourth, more than twelve minutes behind, Victor Lovera fifty-fourth, more than sixteen minutes behind and Mathis Desloges sixtieth, more than seventeen minutes behind. Richard Jouve did not take the start.
