It’s the big day. This Friday, at 13:30, the cross-country skiing world cup in Les Rousses (Jura) opens with an individual men’s 10-kilometre skate race. A Norwegian will not be taking part in this event, as he has already withdrawn.

Mattis Stenshagen, who was present in the Jura region, will not be lining up at the start after all. Astrid Oeyre Slind is also expected to be in the starting line-up in the middle of the afternoon following her very strong Tour de Ski. However, the Norwegian will not be defending her chances in the classic sprint, where she will be replaced by her compatriot Hedda Bakkemo.
