On Tuesday lunchtime, when the Swedish selection for the cross-country skiing World Cup in Les Rousses (Jura) was unveiled, Linn Svahn was included. She was even due to take part in two events: the classic sprint on Saturday and the classic 20km mass-start on Sunday.
However, on Wednesday evening, the Swedish Ski Association issued a press release announcing that its cross-country skier had withdrawn from the French round. “She has not fully recovered from the Tour de Ski and prefers to concentrate on a period of training in order to be ready for the world championships in Trondheim”, it stated.

Moa Hansson will take her place in the sprint and Evelina Crüsell in the mass start.
