Cross-country skiing: two out of three for Les Bleus in the team sprint qualifiers
In the qualifiers for the sprint skate cross-country skiing team at the Lucerne 2025 World Military Games, held this Wednesday morning in Goms (Switzerland), France managed to place two teams in the top 15 going through to the final.
On the men’s side, Richard Jouve and Jules Chappaz, who teamed up for this event as they had all season in the World Cup, set the eighth fastest timein a round won by Germany’s Anian Sossau and Jan Stoelben. Qualification was therefore easily secured. Sixteenth-placed Jules Lapierre and Hugo Lapalus, on the other hand, missed out on their ticket by just 1 second.

In the women’s category, Flora Dolci and Léna Quintin took an excellent second place, beaten only by Italian favourites Caterina Ganz and Federica Cassol. Switzerland’s Giuliana Werro and Nadja Kaelin complete the provisional podium.
