Cross-country skiing: Hugo Dejour and Maëlle Veyre triumph on the national long-distance circuit
Last weekend, the Marathon des Glières rounded off the 2025 edition of the Marathon Ski Tour, the national long-distance cross-country skiing circuit. With six stages this winter, the women’s race was won by Maëlle Veyre. With 3,630 bridges, she finished ahead of Emilie Bulle (3,410) and Océane Bépoix (3,390) on the podium.

Maya Even (2,910), Céline Chopard-Lallier (2,570), Claire Moyse (2,310), Emma Morel (2,182), Camille Bacquenois (2,110), Marthe Charvolin (1,810) and Félicie Chappaz (1,650) entered the top 10.

On the men’s side, it was Montblanc’s Hugo Dejour (3,720), with two wins, who took the title, narrowly beating his Haute-Savoie Nordic Team team-mate Gérard Agnellet (3,620).

Mattis Basille (3,210) rounded off the podium ahead of Nicolas Berthet (2,920), Benoît Chauvet (2,660), Aubin Gautier-Pélissier (2,570), Simon Chappaz (2,430), Yan Belorgey (2,300), Elohann Magini (2,140) and Benjamin Marguet (1,992).
