Cross-country skiing: the World Cup returns to Italy
After Les Rousses (Jura) and theEngadine (Switzerland), the cross-country skiing World Cup continues with a third weekend in a row starting this Friday. Initially scheduled to take place in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic), the weekend’s competitions are finally being held in Cogne, Italy.

And it’s with a classic sprint team that the hostilities will begin at the end of the morning. This will be the final rehearsal before they compete for medals in this format at the world championships in Trondheim (Norway) on Wednesday 5 March. From 11.20am, the ladies will get the ball rolling in the qualifying round.
On the French side, one team will be lining up with the duo of Mélissa Gal and Léna Quintin. The two Haut-Savoyard women will wear bib number 9. The men’s race will start at 11:46. Two French teams will be competing in this men’s race.

The first will feature Jules Chappaz and Richard Jouve, while Rémi Bourdin and Renaud Jay will also be defending their chances.
