Cross-country skiing : Manon Pradel Mayer doubles my stake
Mid-morning, it was the turn of the female cross-country skiers in the under-16 category to compete in the classic mass-start of the French Cross-Country Skiing Cup in Méribel (Savoie).
Over the 7.5 kilometre course, a trio quickly broke away at the front of the race. In the final, Manon Pradel Mayer from La Féclaz (Savoie) proved to be the strongest. This was her second win in two days, following her victory in the classic sprint the day before.
The cross-country skier from Méribel (Savoie), Giulia Lathuraz, took second place, 2 seconds and 4 tenths behind the winner. Léonie Chateigner-Letinois rounded off the podium.
Emma Petitjean, Léa Barbier, Manon Grosdidier, Romane Schweitzer, Romane Durand, Salomé Barreau and Nora Jeunet rounded off the top 10.
