12:33. On Tuesday, the CNOSF (French National Olympic and Sports Committee) announced an initial list of cross-country skiers selected for theMilan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games – with seven quotas for men and six for women – but on Thursday the French team was awarded two additional places.
According to Nordic Magazine, an additional quota was approved on Thursday for both men and women, bringing the total to eight male and seven female cross-country skiers.

The remaining places – one for the men and three for the women – “will be awarded on Monday 26 January”, after the World Cup in Goms (Switzerland), Olivier Michaud, head of the French teams, told Nordic Magazine.
