Cross-country skiing: 2025/2026 World Cup calendar unveiled
On Thursday, the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), which is holding its spring meetings in Vilamoura (Portugal), published the official calendar for the 2025/2026 cross-country skiing World Cup.
As expected, the stage at the Station des Rousses (Jura), which was once again a huge popular success last January, is not on the programme. As usual, the cross-country skiers will return to Ruka (Finland) at the end of November. Then, before Christmas, there are dates in Trondheim (Norway) and Davos (Switzerland).
During the festive season, the Tour de Ski will be contested between Toblach (Italy), where a new format – the mass-start heat – will be tested, and Val di Fiemme (Italy). The end of January, before the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games, will be devoted to the stages inOberhof (Germany) and Goms (Switzerland).
Finally, in March, world cups are scheduled in Falun (Sweden), Lahti (Finland), Drammen (Norway), Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway) and Lake Placid (USA), where the finals will be held.
