Cross-country skiing : Victor Cullet Calderini and Mattéo Correia on the podium
After the women’s races and the U20 cross-country skiers, it was the turn of the senior men to take to the track in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic) to round off the FESA Cup weekend.
It all came down to a sprint after 20 kilometres of racing, and it was Switzerland’s Antonin Savary who came out on top, ahead of the two Tricolores Victor Cullet Calderini and Mattéo Correia, both less than a second behind the Swiss rider.
Rémi Bourdin was fifth, Sabin Coupat seventh and Milhan Laissus tenth. Further back, Romain Vaxelaire finished eighteenth, Julien Arnaud twenty-fifth, Mathieu Blanc thirty-seventh, Ivan Essonnier sixty-second and Quentin Viguier sixty-fifth.
