Cross-country skiing: no podium for the Bleuettes this Sunday in Planica
After a free sprint and an individual classic, an individual skating race was on the programme this Sunday at the FESA Cross-Country Skiing Cup in Planica (Slovenia). In a 10km race, the French U20s finished just off the podium.
Agathe Margreither was fourth, Romane Nappey fifth and Anouchka Neuville sixth, Lucile Coutaz eighth and Noélie Vittoz eleventh. Twenty-second-placed Marie Demor from the Haut-Alpes finished further back.
Up front, it was Germany who dominated with Sarah Hofmann’s crushing victory ahead of her compatriot Sina Titscher and Italy’s Vanessa Cagnati.
