12:08. Just a few moments after the finish of the seniors’ 10kmmass-start classic, in which Julie Pierrel and Juliette Ducordeau finished on the podium, the under-twenties cross-country skiers took to the track in the same format at the FESA Cross-Country Skiing Cup in Planica ( Slovenia).
And once again, the event was a particular success for the French. In the lead, Annette Coupat claimed a superb victory. Stronger in the final, the Forézienne got the better of her Haute-Savoie team-mate Ariane Pignot. A fine French double ahead of Germany’s Anne Buchmann.
Behind them, Romane Nappey and Margot Tirloy finished fifth and sixth respectively in the day’s top 10. Agathe Margreither from the Jura rounded off the French team in thirteenth place.
