This Sunday, the mixed relays brought to a close the FESA Games cross-country skiing event organised this weekend on the slopes of Planica, Slovenia. And it was the young cross-country skiers under the age of eighteen who got the ball rolling in the morning.

And in this event, the French gave their opponents no chance. In the first French team, Gaëtane Breniaux, Gaspard Cottaz, Anouchka Neuville and Victor Lafrasse quickly took the lead. Gradually opening up the gap, the French just had to finish the job to win ahead of the first Italian team and the second German quartet.

A second French team was also at the start. And this one, made up of Lucile Coutaz, Simon Calandry, Pom’ Rives and Lilian Jaussaud from the Hautes-Alpes elite club, also put in a good performance, battling right to the end to take seventh place on the day, more than two minutes behind their winning compatriots.
