Following on from the individual skateboarding event for seniors, in which Julie Pierrel won ahead of her team-mate Juliette Ducordeau, the U20 female cross-country skiers also took to the track at the FESA Cup cross-country skiing event in Planica (Slovenia) over a 10-kilometre course.

And here again, it was a French athlete who particularly stood out. Setting a good pace throughout the race, Margot Tirloy won consistently ahead of her rival Beatrice Laurent. Respectively leader and second in the overall competition rankings, the Haut-Savoyard and the Italian were separated by just 15 seconds at the finish line.

But La Cluse was not the only French rider to shine. 24 seconds after her, Agathe Margreither put in a superb effort to take third place. The Jurassienne is followed in the rankings by the skier from Agy (Haute-Savoie) Ariane Pignot, fourth on the line. Romane Nappey from Doubs was sixth, while Annette Coupat from Forézienne was eighth.
