Cross-country skiing: a FESA Cup podium for Quentin Lespine
On Friday afternoon, Bornandin Quentin Lespine did very well in the U20 cross-country free sprint at the FESA Cup finals in Prémanon (Jura). Seventh in the qualifying round at midday, he then manoeuvred perfectly in the final stages to reach the final.
In this last series, he managed to place well to take a magnificent second place behind Italian Federico Pozzi, the day’s winner. Swiss qualifier Isai Naeff was third. Luca Ferrari, Marco Pinzani and Jakob Elias Moch follow in the rankings.
Earlier in the tournament, Gaspard Cottaz and Quentin Viguier were eliminated in the semi-finals, while Isaïe Taxil, Lorin Vergnolle, Joachim Bunod, Johan Calandry, Romain Vaxelaire and Simon Clavel failed to progress beyond the quarter-finals.
