Cross-country skiing: two new cross-country skiers at the French national police force
This Thursday afternoon, the French National Police announced the recruitment of six new members for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games and the French Alps 2030 Olympic Games.
Among them are two Nordic athletes, with cross-country skiers Rémi Bourdin and Mathis Desloges joining a group that already includes Jeanne Richard and Théo Schely. ” This new wave of talent confirms the institution’s desire to establish a long-term presence in winter sports, by supporting athletes’ careers right up to the next major Olympic Games”, it says.

The other sportsmen and women recruited by the French National Police are Melvin Tchiknavorian (ski cross), Camille Cabrol (mogul skiing), Paco Rassat (downhill skiing) and Timothy Loubineaud (speed skating). All are currently undergoing training as operational police reservists.
