Cross-country skiing : Mattéo Correia sixth
On Saturday, the third stage of the FESA Cup in Seefeld ( Austria) continued withclassic individual races on the programme. The senior cross-country skiers got the ball rolling.
Third at the final intermediate stage, Italy’s Giandomenico Salvadori rode a strong finish to win the 10-kilometre race. He finished ahead of Germany’s Thomas Bing and Czech rider Mike Ophoff.

In the French camp, Vosges rider Mattéo Correia put in the best French performance by taking sixth place, 20 seconds and 9 hundredths behind the winner. He was ahead of Sabin Coupat (14th), Julien Arnaud (20th), Quentin Viguier (30th), Romain Vaxelaire (33rd), Victor Cullet Calderini (41st), Félix Caillot (49th), Milhan Laissus (52nd), Ivan Essonnier (64th) and Mathieu Blanc (69th).
