Cross-country skiing : Mario Perrillat-Collomb just off the podium
In the wake of France’s hat-trick of victories in the senior category, it was the turn of the cross-country skiers in the under-20 category to compete in the mass-start skate event at the FESA Cup in Seefeld (Austria).
In the 15-kilometre long race, Mario Perrillat-Collomb took fourth place, 29.7 seconds from victory. He was joined in the top 10 by Gaspard Cottaz, sixth, and Johan Calandry, seventh. Next up was Victor Lafrasse in eleventh place. Valentin Berna finished twelfth and Quentin Lespine seventeenth.

At the front, the Italians scored another hat-trick of victories – following on from Saturday’s individual classic. Daniel Pedranzini and Federico Pozzi escaped from the fifth kilometre and battled it out for victory, which went to Pozzi. Marco Pinzani completed the podium.
