The cross-country skiing season is not quite over yet for some athletes. This Saturday, the Lofsdalen Epic took place in Sweden as part of the Ski Classics Challengers circuit.
The big favourite of the day after a successful return to international long-distance racing, Stina Nilsson didn’t waver. The Team Ragde Charge rider dominated the event, winning the 55-kilometre race ahead of Hedda Baangman, who was more than two minutes behind. Their Swedish compatriot Tova Andersson completed the top 3.

In the men’s race, the battle was tougher. And in the end, after 2 hours 28 minutes and 29 seconds of effort, it was Scandinavian Johannes Ekloef who came out on top. The 29-year-old won ahead of Markus Hallén Johansson and Kasper Olsen.
