This Saturday morning, the 2024/2025 season of the Ski Classics, the international long-distance cross-country skiing circuit, opened in Austria with the women’s Bad Gastein ITT. In this women’s 7km time trial, Hanna Fine from Isère, who competes for theeD System Vltava Fund Team, achieved the best result of her career.
In twelfth place, she came within 10 seconds of the top 10… which was closed by former biathlete and special cross-country skier Stina Nilsson (Team Ragde Charge). It was Norway’s Anikken Gjerde Alnæs (Team Engcon) who took victory, 6 sec 1 ahead of Magni Smedaas (Team Eksjöhus) and 11 sec 3 ahead of Emilie Fleten (Team Ramudden).

Among the other French competitors, Amélie Suiffet (TNE Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite) was twenty-third, Léonie Harivel (TNE Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite) twenty-fifth, Laurie Flochon-Joly (TNE Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite) twenty-ninth and Margaux Gaillard (i3 Ski Team) fortieth.
- This winter, Margaux Gaillard (Team Vercors Isère) will be competing in the Ski Classics circuit in the colours of the i3 Ski Team.
