11:23. The 10-kilometre mass-start classic of the Swiss cross-country skiing cup took place in Sparenmoos (Switzerland) on Saturday. In the women’s race, it was Fabienne Alder who got the better of her rivals. The Swiss woman won by a margin of more than 12 seconds over Ramona Schoepfer. Nina Cantieni settled for third place in the box.
In the men’s race, Nicola Wigger got the better of his compatriot Niclas Steiger in the final package. It was a hard-fought race, with the day’s third-placed Antonin Savary just 7 tenths behind the winner.
