Cross-country skiing : team events in Trondheim
The day after the individual 10-kilometre classic, the cross-country skiing world championships in Trondheim ( Norway) continue this Wednesday with the highly-anticipated classic sprint team. From 11 a.m., the athletes will take to the track in the qualifications, before battling it out for the medals from 2.30 p.m. onwards.

In fact, it’s the cross-country skiers who will kick off the hostilities with the Finnish pair Kerttu Niskanen/Jasmi Joensuu. Just behind them, the day’s big favourites Jonna Sundling and Maja Dahlqvist will also enter the fray fairly quickly. On the French side, Mélissa Gal and Léna Quintin will start with bib number 9.

In the men’s race, from 11:29 onwards, there is no doubt that the Norwegian duo of Erik Valnes and Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo are the overwhelming contenders for the gold medal. France’s Jules Chappaz and Richard Jouve will be tempted to upset the hierarchy with the number 5 on their backs.
