14:00. After the individual skate yesterday, the Norwegian cross-country skiers competed in classic sprints at the Steinkjer Norwegian Cup on Saturday. In the men’s race, Amund Korsæth won ahead of Matz William Jenssen and Aron Aakre Rysstad in a very tight sprint.
In the women’s event, Hedda Oestberg Amundsen dominated the competition. First in the qualifying round, she then won her quarter-final and semi-final before going on to shine in the final. The Norwegian beat her compatriots Hedda Bakkemo and Ingrid Andrea Gulbrandsen .
