This Friday, the Norwegian cross-country skiing cup in Steinkjer began with individual skate races over 20 kilometres. It was the men who competed first in the morning.
Biathlete Einar Hedegart, who has two starts in the biathlon world cup and one in the cross-country skiing world cup, proved to be the strongest, completing the race in 41 min 46 sec. He beat his compatriots Edvard Sandvik by 24 seconds and 6 tenths and Karsten Andre Vestad by 41 seconds and 7 tenths.

In the women’s race, Karoline Groetting won in 48 minutes and 34 seconds. She beat Mari Nordlunde by 3 seconds and 8 tenths. The podium was completed by Marte Skaanes, 12 seconds and 2 tenths behind the winner.
