Cross-country skiing : night races in Davos
This Friday, the third leg of the cross-country skiing World Cup season kicks off in Davos, Switzerland. After two weeks in Scandinavia, the big international caravan returns to Central Europe and the Alps. After the great success of last year’s end-of-day races on this same site during the Tour de Ski, the organisers have decided to do it again this winter.
The events kick off at 4pm on Friday with the qualifying round of the skateboard team sprint. The finals will take place at 6pm. The following day, it’s the same old story, with the first heats of the skateboard sprint taking place at 2.45pm and the finals starting at 5.15pm.
Finally, the competitions in Graubünden come to a close on Sunday with the classic 20-kilometre individual races scheduled for 11.30am for the men and 2pm for the women.
