Cross-country skiing: the U15 National Challenge takes place on Saturday and Sunday at Col de Porte
Between two stages of the French Cross-Country Skiing Cup, this weekend sees the U15 National Challenge on the slopes of the Col de Porte (Isère). Organised by Ski Nordique Chartreuse, whose members include Jules Lapierre, James Clugnet, Hanna Fine and Victor Lovera, the next generation of French cross-country skiers are expected to take part in two days of competitive action.

On Saturday, skate sprints will be contested (men’s finals at 10.30am, women’s at 2pm), while individual classic races will take place on Sunday morning from 9am. The boys will race over 5km and the girls over 4km.
A general individual ranking will be drawn up by adding the points collected in the two races to crown the best cross-country skiers of the weekend. A club hierarchy will also be drawn up.
