Cross-country skiing: fourteen Italian cross-country skiers in Finland
As the competitions approach, the cross-country skiers are fine-tuning their preparations through a series of training courses. While the French cross-country skiing team is training in Bessans (Savoie), their Italian counterparts are in Muonio (Finland). This Sunday, the Transalpine team begin their last training session before the start of the World Cup in Ruka (Finland), scheduled for 29 November.

Until 17 November, fourteen Italian athletes – eight men and six women – will be taking advantage of the good snow conditions in Finland. The men’s team, led by Federico Pellegrino, also includes Michael Hellweger, Elia Barp, Davide Graz, Simone Dapra, Paolo Ventura, Martino Carollo and Lorenzo Romano. On the women’s side, the team will include Caterina Ganz, Nicole Monsorno, Federica Cassol, Nadine Laurent, Iris De Martin Pinter and Maria Gismondi.

Meanwhile, the fourteen athletes in the Milan/Cortina 2026 group – Simone Mocellini, Francesco De Fabiani, Giovanni Ticco, Andrea Zorzi, Davide Ghio, Aksel Artusi, Gabriele Matli, Davide Negroni, Virginia Cena, Martina Di Centa, Beatrice Laurent, Marit Folie and Ylvie Folie – will be in Davos (Switzerland) from 3 to 14 November.
Finally, the members of the junior team will be in Livigno (Italy) for a training camp scheduled for between 3 and 9 November.
