Cross-country skiing: off to La Féclaz for the Marathon Ski Tour
Just a week after the Foulée Blanche, where Maëlle Veyre and Mattis Basille won brilliantly, the Marathon Ski Tour – the national long-distance circuit – continues this Sunday on the slopes of La Féclaz (Savoie).

On the programme for this third stage is La Savoyarde, a popular 42-kilometre cross-country ski race: “La Savoyarde is an event that we have designed for everyone, with several races over several days, for adapted sports, schoolchildren, secondary schools and high schools”, explains Marc Desseux, director of the La Féclaz sports club and organiser of this event, in a press release.

With a potential snowstorm expected later this week, the organising committee is currently working on a route comprising two 21-kilometre loops. This year, the participants will be trying to follow in the footsteps of Amélie Suiffet and Benoît Chauvet, winners of the 2024 edition.
