18:35. On 13 and 14 December,the second leg of the 2025/2026 French cross-country skiing cup was due to take place in Arvieux (Hautes-Alpes), in the Queyras region. Unfortunately, the French Ski Federation (FFS ) announced on Thursday that “the snow conditions [on site] do not allow us to maintain” the events.
The ski club Queyras and the resort of Arvieux have done everything possible to offer quality competitions, but the lack of snowfall and the relatively mild weather forecast mean that we can’t confirm the event,” he says. We would like to thank them for the commitment and energy they have put into preparing the event.
The competitions have been moved to the Plateau des Glières, in Haute-Savoie, under the dual organisation of the Club Nordic des Glières and the Pays Rochois. As already planned, a skate sprint and an individual classic will take place.
