Cross-country skiing: sufficient snow conditions for the Transju’Jeunes 2026
The organisers of the Transju’Jeunes have confirmed that the 2026 event will be held on Wednesday 21 January in Les Rousses (Jura).
“Even though there has been snow in France over the last few days, it’s slowly settling in at Les Rousses. The youngsters will be able to take advantage of the great conditions to test themselves against each other. […] The Trans’Organisation teams are already hard at work to guarantee a great event next year. The temperatures are stabilising and a few snowflakes are even expected to fall this weekend”, they announce.

As planned, 22 freestyle events will be scheduled over courses ranging from 1 to 6 km , depending on the age of the participants (from 7 to 19). Start times will be staggered by category from 10.15am to 3.15pm. These races are part of the USEP (primary schools) and UNSS (secondary schools) circuits, and are expected to attract around 2,000 participants.
