Cross-country skiing: a 53-kilometre route between Saint-Agnan and Villard-de-Lans
Absent from the calendar of popular races since 2023, the Trans’Vercors Nordic is preparing to regain its place at the heart of the French Nordic winter. The legendary event in the Vercors will make its return on 1 February 2026, with local boy Robin Duvillard as its patron. Run as a duo, the Trans’Vercors will once again offer its 53-kilometre course, with 1,140 metres of ascent, linking Saint-Agnan to Villard-de-Lans.
Participants will cross the emblematic Hauts-Plateaux du Vercors nature reserve, one of the wildest and most popular sites in the Massif, finishing at the Nordic site of Bois-Barbu, after passing through the Plateau de Beurre.
In the event of poor conditions, the race could be held on the 27-kilometre ‘La Royale’ track. The final choice of route will be announced on 22 January, depending on the snow conditions.
