Cross-country skiing: a contingent of fourteen American athletes heads for Trondheim
In just over two weeks’ time, the world cross-country skiing championships will kick off on the slopes of Trondheim (Norway). A key event in the 2024/2025 season, this competition is eagerly awaited by all, and the teams who will be defending their chances in Scandinavia are gradually announcing the list of athletes who will be lining up in the various events.
While Switzerland and Norway have already unveiled this famous list, it is now the turn of the United States to do the same in recent days. And there are no surprises. World number one Jessie Diggins will be there, and she will be joined on the women’s side by Rosie Brennan, Julia Kern, Sophia Laukli, Kendall Kramer and Kate Oldham.

In the men’s line-up, young Ben Ogden will be one of the leaders of this rejuvenated group, which will also feature John Steel Hagenbuch, Luke Jager, Zak Ketterson, Zanden McMullen, James Clinton Schoonmaker, Gus Schumacher and Jack Young.
