Fourth in the inaugural skate sprint of the Tour de Ski on Saturday afternoon at the cross-country skiingworld cup in Toblach (Italy), Richard Jouve put in a fine performance on Sunday in the 15-kilometre mass-start classic.

Sixteenth on the line after having been in the leading pack throughout the race, the Frenchman managed to claim second place in the overall classification of the tour behind Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo, winner of the first two races already contested.
The French cross-country skier is now thirty-four seconds behind the Norwegian and just two seconds ahead of Italy’s Federico Pellegrino.
