Cross-country skiing : time for competitions in Val di Fiemme on the Tour de Ski
After a second and final rest day, the Tour de Ski stops off in Val di Fiemme (Italy) over the weekend for the last three races of the 2024/2025 edition of the competition. The fifth venue to host the cross-country skiing world cup this winter, the valley in the Dolomites will be the scene of a classic sprint on Friday.

At 12.15pm, the ladies will take to the track and it is a Frenchwoman who will be the first to compete. Mélissa Gal will open the qualifying round, followed a few seconds later by the tour’s new leader, Astrid Oeyre Slind. The second Frenchwoman to defend her chances will be Léna Quintin with number 13, while Léonie Perry, revelation of the inaugural skate sprint in Toblach (Italy), will wear number 41.

Among the cross-country skiers, Théo Schely from Haut-Savoie, like Mélissa Gal, will be the first to set off at 12:46. He will be followed by Mathis Desloges on 4, Richard Jouve on 9, Hugo Lapalus on 24, Rémi Bourdin on 28 and Jules Lapierre on 58.
