09:34. This Wednesday, the first team event of the World Cross-Country Skiing Championships in Trondheim (Norway) takes place in the classic sprint team format. And while Jules Chappaz and Richard Jouve will be representing the French team from 11am in the qualifying round, the Swedes will be undergoing a last-minute change.
Initially paired up with Calle Halfvarsson, Edvin Anger will be changing partners. The experienced Scandinavian was ill in the early hours of this competition and is unable to take his place alongside his young compatriot.
In the starting gate, it was the solid Oskar Svensson who replaced his team-mate to try and put his country on the podium at the start of the afternoon.
