Cross-country skiing : five French starters
This Friday, the cross-country skiing world cup continues with its second stage of the winter. After opening in Ruka (Finland), the world caravan sets down its skis in Trondheim (Norway), scene of the last World Championships, where the classic sprints will kick off the weekend.

The ladies will get the ball rolling at 9.45am with Andorra’s Gina Del Rio. In the French camp, Bornandine Léna Quintin will be the only Frenchwoman at the start with bib number 9.

In the men’s race, American Gus Schumacher will be first out of the starting gate at 10.24 am. As for the French, Rémi Bourdin will start in number 5, Jules Chappaz in number 10 and Richard Jouve in number 11. Lucas Chanavat will be making his comeback in 29th position.
