This Thursday, the men’s relay at the world cross-country skiing championships was due to start at 2pm in the Granåsen stadium (Norway). However, because of the difficult conditions, particularly the wind in the Trondheim region (Norway), the cross-country skiers were 30 minutes late.

As the process of opening and preparing the track has been delayed by the wind storm that hit Trondheim this morning, the start of the men’s relay has been postponed by 30 minutes and will begin at 2.30pm,” said the FIS in a press release. This will allow sufficient time for the public to enter the arena in a safe and orderly manner”.
