Cross-country skiing: final showdown at the World Championships for the cross-country skiers
This Saturday, the 50-kilometre skate closes the men’s competitions at the world cross-country skiing championships in Trondheim (Norway), which began on 26 February. Starting at 11.30am, 75 athletes will take part in this legendary race.

Four of them will be French. The first to take to the start line will be Hugo Lapalus with bib number 3. This will be followed by Mathis Desloges in number 7, Jules Lapierre in number 19 and Victor Lovera in number 30. Deprived of a medal throughout the fortnight, Les Bleus will certainly be keen to play against the best before turning their attention to the end of the season.
